Although recipes in this web site are Kay's and my favorite family and friends recipes there are a few that are so good we just don't take the time to try another recipe.
First is Kay's  our award winning BBQ sauce .  It's not a marinade and it's not a dip.  Heck, when you taste it as you're making it you'll be tempted to toss it and get out your (previously) favorite bottle.  It doesn't "taste" like any BBQ sauce you ever tried.  The secret is in the carmelization on the ribs as they cook.  As you slow cook the ribs at about 250º, start putting on the sauce about half way through. Let the first layer cook in and then put on another layer.  I usually lay on three or four layers.
We just got a call from Jason who said his wife would never eat BBQ ribs.  He used this sauce and she couldn't get enough.
While we're on the BBQ ribs lets list   Kay's BBQ Beans.  I can't claim a first place trophy for my ribs because someone stole the trophy many years ago but I do still have the one for Beans and it's well deserved.   Kay's BBQ Beans are, like the ribs, just the best.  THE best.

During the summer, and even into winter now that we get fresh fruit all year long, we almost always have a bowl of  Broccoli Salad    on hand.
If someone had told me ten years ago that I'd love Broccoli Salad I'd have laughed in their face.   It's amazing.  I usually make extra dressing so those of us that want a little more can put it on.  Kay likes it just the way the recipe says and so do most folks.  Maybe my taster is wearing out after eating so much hot spicy foods.
Whether you like Broccoli Salad or not and even if you hate broccoli, give this a try. At least take a look at the recipe. It is January and just writing about it makes me want to go to the store to get the makings and whip up some tomorrow.
Another must for almost every family gathering is Blue Olives .  Years ago I had to use a tiny baby spoon to slowly stuff the cheese into the olives.  Now, with a plastic freezer bag it's quick and easy.

What next?  Creamy Chicken Bake, that's what.  So easy and such a crowd pleaser.  For just the two of us or if we have to make a lot for a dinner party this good old stand-by it always a hit. And for a little difference we like Green Chili Chicken.

For now, I'm going to stop at  Pork Chop Supreme.  One of the easiest and, yet, most flavorful dishes we have and we have it monthly.

Oh, for salads we love Doré's Salad   and  Autum Salad .

Wait, wait, wait. . . . .
I almost forgot Carl's Panko Chicken.  It is so easy and so very good.  And, there is a whole dinner there for you.
Just added  Kay's Super Nachos to the list. And  Petite Cherry Cheese Cakes.  Sooooo good. . . .
Summer means fresh flavorfull blueberries and that means Kays Blueberry Muffins dipped in butter and sugar.
For Kay's birthday she wanted  Eclair Cake  easy and yummy.  MMMmmmmmmm good.
I can't believe I hadn't added Kay's Oh, Fudge in the microwave.  Easy and easily the best fudge you  ever tried. I can never make just one batch. And, June's Cookies. So, easy... Well if they wern't I wouldn't be makin' 'em.
