A GREAT Sauce
One day, many years ago, when my mother came
to visit, she brought along a marinade sauce she just loved.
She got it at Raley's in Folsom and liked it so much she bought bottles
for all her friends. It was Radich's BOR-DO-LAY sauce. As
soon as I tasted it I was hooked also.
The Radich family had been around Sacramento for a long long time and
at one time had owned the Sacramento Solon's baseball team which played
in the Pacific Coast
League. But, I digress
I use it in soups meat dished and stews, Sometimes with eggs in the
morning and have even sprinkled it over Impossible Bacon Pie.
today I made Chicken Stoup for dinner
and, of course, in went some Bor-Do-Lay. It just adds a little
something extra. Makes whatever it's in a little
richer.
If you can't find it in your grocery store, E-mail me at
CarlDeCook@aol.com and I'll see if I can help you find some. It
is so good, that before they got their web site I would mail some out
to people.
I've tried to soak a bottle so I could get the lable off,
scan it and put a copy of the lable in here so you could see what
it looks like but that didn't work..
