Yummy Pumpkin Bread

3 1/2 c           flour
2  tsp.            baking soda
2  tsp.            salt
1  tsp.            cinnamon
1  tsp             baking powder
1  tsp.            nutmeg
1/2  tsp.         ginger

   
    1  c                oil

    3  c                sugar
    4                    eggs

    2  c                canned pumpkin
    2/3  c            orange juice

1 1/2 c        raisins ( I use golden)
1 1/2 c        chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts)

                    pre-heat oven to 325 after turning out into loaf pans

    Combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg and ginger,  and set aside.

        Beat together sugar and oil.  Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in pumpkin and orange juice.
  Blend in dry ingredients.  Add raisins and nuts

    Turn out into two greased and flowered loaf pans and let stand for 20 minutes.
 Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 15 minures or until a toothpic or straw comes out clean.
   Let stand for 5 minutes then turn out to a cooling rack.
